“The What-Abouts”
The Curmudgeon Emeritus at Eternity Road is kicking off a new series of essays on “The What-Abouts,” which are described this way.
... Any aspect of “the way things are” that commands a constituency of some sort will give rise to a what-about:
■“What about the poor?”
■“What about the environment?”
■“What about monopolies?”
■“What about the roads?”
■“What about public health?”
■“What about the libraries?”
■“What about the schools?”
■“What about the children?”
The opening essay, which informs readers of the coming essays, is titled The What-Abouts: Critical Obstacles To A Return To Constitutional Governance. Could be an interesting series of essays.
