Rationed Health Care - If It Was a Snake, It Would’ve Bit You

Growing up, there were numerous occasions when searching for some item, which invariably was right under my nose, hollering “Hey, Mum, have you seen my…,?” whatever it was I was searching for, my Mum would pluck up the item I was searching for, right from under my nose and state, “If it was a snake, it would’ve bit you.”

I think that the above anecdote is an appropriate opening to dismissing the official State line that if the State legislates health care there will be no rationing of health care.

In illustration of my hypothesis, and in support of my anecdote, I point you to a story in regards to the swine or H1N1 vaccine titled Some who get vaccine not in high-risk groups from which the following quote is lifted.

“We really are hoping people go on the honor system and let us immunize people in the priority groups,” Southern Nevada Health District spokeswoman Stephanie Bethel said. “I think, for the most part, it’s working.”...“We assertively asked those who were not in the priority group to move to the end of the line, so when we ran out of vaccine, those people who were left were those who were not at risk,” said health officer Dr. Gary Oxman.

Can you honestly and rationally convince yourself, knowing with certainty that a medical resource as simple as a vaccine is being rationed (prioritized) by the State, right now, that if the State fully controls health care that your personal needs for medical care will not be compromised?

The evidence of the folly of State legislated health care is right there in front of your nose, if it was a snake, it would bite you.
