More Regarding Market Shenanigans

They shouldn’t receive a penny…

Bush is evidently proposing a cut in some subsidies paid to farmers.  A good thing overall in my opinion, but I had to laugh at the following sentence reporting on this development.

"Such limits would help reduce the federal budget deficit and would inject market forces into the farm economy, the officials said."

“Inject market forces,” who do those nameless officials think they’re kidding?

“Bush Is Said to Seek Sharp Cuts in Subsidy Payments to Farmers"
