Joe Stack Impressions

Though there are many news articles regarding Joe Stack, there is no consensus, at this time, as to whether Joe Stack will go down in history as a patriot or a terrorist, though Joe Stack’s daughter, Samantha Bell, considers her father a hero.

Various contributors to Newsweek are debating if Joe Stack should be consider a terrorist, and you can read their viewpoints at Newsweek under the heading Should Joseph Stack Be Called a Terrorist?  Currently, these contributors seem to be more inclined to consider Joe Stack as a “tax wacko,” which I hardly think is accurate, who committed a terrorist type act.

Butler Shaffer, in a post at LewRockwell.com, also shares his impressions in regards to Joe Stack in a piece titled A Suicide Attack on the IRS, and there is much, much more opinion out there for your perusal and consideration.

I personally think that Joe Stack will come to be admired by the majority of Americans.  It will be difficult for the State and the MSM to cast Joe Stack as a deranged individual to the American public.  It’s much too late for that, and the news coverage to date, while not flattering, has not been able to conjure a negative, hateful, killer wacko image in American individuals’ minds, because of the simple fact that Joe Stack was not a hateful, killer wacko intent on murdering Americans.  I would wager a hefty sum that in the hearts of Americans Joe Stack’s action in crashing his small airplance into an IRS building will come to be considered as an enviable act, though the majority of Americans would not emulate it.
