Illinois Governor Gov. Rod Blagojevich Trots Out Tired Old Cheer
In the post just previous to this one about Blagojevich, Has the Script Been Approved by All the Interested Parties?, I noted the Blagojevich was supposedly as eager as a beaver to tell his side of the story and was making his first public statement in regards the allegations levied against him.
Well, Blagojevich has made his first public statement and he simply trotted out an old cheer utilized by professional jobholders everywhere whenever under the threat of charges of wrongdoing of one type or another.
...I will fight this thing every step of the way. I will fight, I will fight, I will fight until I take my last breath,”...“I have done nothing wrong.”
Stand up, sit down, fight, fight, fight.
