Yeah, Right

I wonder how many Vietnam Vets would put any faith in the following statement from one of John Kerry’s recent campaign mutterings.

“‘I’ve got your back!’”

Yeah, I’ve got your back, alright, now let me get my knife out of it.

Actually, I don’t think McCain would actually switch parties to run with Kerry, if for no other reason that ego—having worked alongside Kerry, McCain would have to think he’s better qualified to be president. I suspect the whole Kerry-McCain story is nothing more than a media daydream designed to alleviate the boredom of the campaign trail.
