Will They Need a Disclaimer Posted, Too?
My sons inform me NASCAR stands for Non Athletic Sport Centered Around Racing, not that they wouldn’t enjoy getting behind the wheel of one of those muscle cars and spinning it around the track.
Anyway, NASCAR is an expensive endeavor and draws deep pocketed sponsors like TIDE or makers of chew and what not. Today I read that NASCAR is allowing new sponsorships from a source, I’m fairly certain, will raise eyebrows. Liquor makers.
I can see it now, the Popov vodka team, or, even better, the Thunderbird team. But will they require the standard disclaimer, “Don’t Drink and Drive,” be painted on the car, too?
