Update on the Canadian Submarine
The other day, I mentioned, with a thank goodness for no deaths, the fire stricken Canadian submarine. I’ve been following this story, with empathy, as the sub drifted, powerless in the Atlantic. Though the sub was drifting, as many articles I read noted, wallowing in the sea would be a more apt description due to the unique design of submarines where the majority of the hull is below the surface.
I note this morning, that one crewmember has died as a result of the fire, and another is in critical condition, as mentioned here.
I certainly hope they get that damn thing into port, soon.
