The Arrogance of A Chicken in Every Pot

Professional jobholders, politicians that is, are continually espousing equality of this, that and the other thing, in their misguided attempts to level the playing field. Many would have us feel, that they are just like us, well, they aren’t.

Here’s a prime example of this. A Chicago alderman, by the name of Arenda Troutman, who has had her home burgled a couple of times in a three month spread, feels she deserves to have a cop car parked outside her home. Her justification statement follows.

"It’s very frightening,” she said. “I feel I have been fighting for my people. For people to violate me, it’s awful."

How terrible, Arenda, I feel your pain.
