Tasering Old People and Kids

Three weeks ago I noted the police tasering a 75 year old woman. Today, I see the police have gone to the other end of the spectrum and tasered a 6 year old boy.

  1. My mother is seventy years old, now.  I just asked her what she would do if faced with a six year-old in those straits.  She thought hard about it and decided that she could probably still move fast enough to take him.

    Big bad cops.  “Our protectors.” They can’t even handle a six year-old.

    I’ve said it before: “We are at least a generation into a culture of people who are trained to *not* reason to a moral conclusion on their own authority.  These are the same kinds of people who, decades ago, herded fellow human beings into cattle cars without hearing the sounds of their own consciences.”

    The Endarkenment proceeds to its gathering consequences.
