Short Attention Spans

That’s Andrew Sullivan in a post titled “How dumb is Al Qaeda?"

What I find troubling, is the supposed need to be “suddenly reminded of the larger stakes,...” If that is the case, how dumb are we?

    More to the point, how complacent are we...but oh so true, how dumb is Al-Qua-duh?  Thier recent action against Berg is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline! America has been in need of a reality check as to why we are in this battle to begin with and this may just provide some of the fuel.
