  1. Having *been* there, I see all sorts of exaggerations, inconsistencies and outright fabrications in this typical article. I have nothing but disgust and loathing in anything US military anymore.

    I have been proud and ignorant, then I grew up.

  3. Afghanistan was pretty much a Ghost Town when we handed the mission over to NATO.

    Which is why we handed it to NATO in the first place.  That was a mistake.
