Small dogs and eagles don’t mix?...

Now, this would’ve been a sight to see.

  1. A few years ago a similar incident occured here in Alaska. A retired couple and their pet Shitsu (sp?) stopped at a gas station outside Denali Park to refuel their RV. While the man pumped the gas his wife took the dog to pee. A moment later the man heard his wife screech and bawl, and when he looked up to see what the fuss was about he saw an Eagle lift off the ground with the Shitsu in its talons.

    Onlookers reported seeing the husband clench his fist, cock his arm and loudly whisper a “Yes!” to himself. The Shitsu was never found.
