Kiss My Ass, Too, Westboro Baptist Church

Freedom of speech, no matter how despicable the speech, should be inviolable. 

With that said, I hope the asshats who make up the membership of Westboro Baptist Church rot in hell.  Despciable beasts, all.  I hope they burn, along with their “Thank God for dead soldiers” signs.

  1. I suspect that God has a very high tolerance for heresy. But I suspect that Phelpsism is somewhere over the line.  The appropriate response would be to pray for their conversion—because whatever that is, it ain’t Christian.

    Though the Bible does instruct those of faith to “pray for those who persecute you” (Mt. 5:44) as being appropriate, my tolerance of such behaviors is far from sacred.  If God judges me harshly for my angry intolerance, so be it.
