John Galt’s Speech - Condensed Version
A good number of individuals, when picking up Ayn Rand’s book Atlas Shrugged, can be intimidated by its one thousand plus pages. These individuals have little idea of the scope of John Galt’s speech, within the book, which even I find a need to trudge through. But when Rand published Atlas Shrugged, Blanchard and Johnson were still quite a ways from publishing their book The One Minute Manager. Pity.
In the spirit of Blanchard’s and Johnson’s book, Wendy McElroy has posted John Galts Speech mini version, which she snagged from Working-Minds.
The speech has been condensed down to 964 words, and though it will take more than one (1) minute to read, the heart of Galt’s speech has been nicely encapsulated.
