Is It Even Art?

Billy Beck points out another illiterate member of the so called intellgentsia, this time an artist, and I use that term very loosely, who can’t seem to spell names like Einstein or Shakespeare, among others.  Brilliant, just brilliant, and on the government’s nickle no less.

The offending artist’s name is Maria Alquilar, and almost more disturbing is her defense of her ignorance.

"The importance of this work is that it is supposed to unite people,” Alquilar said. “They are denigrating my work and the purpose of this work."

Denigrating your work, Maria, the unspecified “they” are not denigrating your work, they are denigrating your frickin ignorance.

  1. Dumb Biznich! She should be sued by the city for repayment and additional expenses for the work to be redone, by a different “artist”!
