Here Come the Looters
In Business Week, Leo Hindery Jr., a managing director of private equity firm InterMedia Partners, is clamoring for Congress to bring about legislation to curb CEO pay, amongest other things, stating that the income currently paid to CEOs “...is at the core of many of our nation’s economic ills.” Right.
The only point in Hindery’s opinion piece that I agree with is that payments of million dollar bonuses to CEOs, managers and other high volume traders of failed or failing businesses currently still afloat, only through the disbursement of funds picked from individual Americans’ pockets, is downright disgusting.
I wonder if Mr. Hindery would be willing, as a managing partner, to allow Americans to view InterMedia Partners’ payroll? Something tells me that he would not.
Hindery’s piece is titled Why Obama, Congress must curb CEO pay
