“Eagle War”

The bald eagle is a very cool raptor.  We have them in my neck of the woods, but not in numbers enough that each siting elicits exclamations or shouts to others to look skyward.

A fortunate individual happened upon a eagle attempting to snare a duck on a lake, to no avail, when another eagle joined in.  He was able to obtain a number of pretty amazing shots.  You can view them here.

  1. Excellant series of photos!  Where/How do you find this stuff?  If only we should be so lucky to witness and event like this!  Maybe someday!
