Delivering the Message, No Questions Asked

Via The Trooper’s Gal we are pointed to a piece at Bad Bad JuJu titled A Message for Everyone, which is a repost of Elbert Hubbard’s essay A Message to Garcia.  Read it.

  1. Thanks…

I think “A Message to Garcia” should be required reading for everyone.  I first read it many many years ago.  Good stuff, and I have it on good authority that it is required reading for all Marines who hold the rank of Corporal or above.  No matter, everyone should read it.

Speaking of fly-fishing…I was in Belize not long ago fly-fishing for Bonefish…got my first one on my second throw / cast…after about 30 were boated and released, I was worn out…but it was too much fun.  Beats the Keys. I grew up flying for Trout in Tennessee streams, but a snagging a trout is different than snagging a bonefish.  Well, at least you can eat a trout.

I have a good friend who goes to Costa Rica to fly-fish for Sailfish.  That…I gotta try.

    Have a good day!

  2. Thanks…

I’m grateful I found the link via Trooper’s Gal.

I’ll be chasing mayflies and trout most of next week.
