Congressional Circus Animals in the Spotlight

The breaking news about the AIG bonus fiasco is that the House has passed a bill to tax said bonuses to the amount of 90%.  This is nothing more than political grandstanding of the highest level.  Of course, Nancy Pelosi has to get her face time in on this, with the following comment.

“We want our money back and we want our money back now for the taxpayers.”

Yeah, like any individual taxpayer would ever see a one single penny of any of that tax money, if in actuality it was returned, at the point of a gun.

What a show!
