Blowing Commercial Grade Smoke
The headline reads Why Obama Really Might Decriminalize Marijuana and the very first paragraph of the piece made me cough with the harshness of the smoke being blown up the legalize marijuana crowds’ asses by the Obama “team’s” propaganda machine.
Turns out, with several drug-war veterans close to the president-elect’s ear, insiders think reform could come in Obama’s second term—or sooner.
Amazing, the “insiders” already have The Obama serving a second term. I wonder what the “insiders” are smoking.
The second paragraph of the piece attempts to consecrate Obama with the smoke of FDR’s ashes, and his alleged salvation of the banking system, which almost caused me to choke on the thickness of the smoke welling up from the fire keeping the cannibal pot simmering.
Then, in the eighth paragraph of this piece, I was almost overcome by smoke inhalation when I read this.
And two weeks ago, when the Obama team asked the public to vote on the top problems facing America, this was the public’s No. 1 question: “Will you consider legalizing marijuana so that the government can regulate it, tax it, put age limits on it, and create millions of new jobs and a billion dollar industry right here in the U.S.?”
The above quote from the piece makes me think that the “public,” rather than smoking joints, is dropping acid and hallucinating. The last thing any marijuana smoker should want is for the State to get involved in the business of controlling a commodity which can be purchased in almost every city in America without the State benefiting from it in the form of taxes. And, if the State did begin to regulate marijuana, my bet is that the smoke which could be purchased would be in the vein of 3:2 beer.
Yes, the State should decriminalize marijuana, but then the State should just back off and leave well enough alone, but I think that this Obama team propaganda regarding the possibility of the decriminalization of marijuana is just commercial grade smoke being blown up everyones’ ass.
