A Facetious Question from Drudge

Drudge has as his banner headline the following.

What is She Up To? Hillary Skips State of the Union

The headline, links to a Washington Post piece headlined Clinton misses speech, but not as security holdout.

Okay, that eliminates one possible answer to Drudge’s questioning headline.  My answer to Drudge’s interrogatory, regardless of Der Rodham’s having received “permission” to skip the SOTU from the Obama himself according to the Post piece, is that Hillary’s distance from the SOTU is preparatory to her distancing herself from Obama for a 2012 challenge to Obama.

UPDATE:  Corrected date to reflect 2012 (next presidential election).
