Chivalry Refresher - Got Manners?

When did chivalry die and for what reasons?  Did chivlary die when the Titanic sank?  Or, did chivlary die in the 16th century, or was it just a figment of writers’ imaginations? Or, as some individuals suggest, did women kill chivalry?

I do knot know when, or even if, chivalry died, but I do know that we should probably reacquaint ourselves with some of the tenets of chivalry, and Brigid has posted just such a chivalry refresher in a post titled Big Damn Heroes, Sir., which is definitely worth a read.

As such, it also seems appropriate to ask, in association with Brigid’s post, Got manners?
