FBI Lying About Northwest Flight 253?

There is much Americans are not being told about Northwest flight 253, which may just be, as Representative Peter King states, “selective ass-covering,” which is a common everyday practice among the professional jobholders in Washington D.C.

Kurt Haskell, an attorney who lives in Michigan and was on the flight, has been talking about the goings on in regards to Northwest flight 253 at Mlive.com, and has been visited by the FBI, because Mr. Haskell’s story does not follow the official version.

“Today is the second worst day of my life after 12-25-09. Today is the day that I realized that my own country is lying to me and all of my fellow Americans. Let me explain.

Ever since I got off of Flight 253 I have been repeating what I saw in US Customs. Specifically, 1 hour after we left the plane, bomb sniffing dogs arrived. Up to this point, all of the passengers on Flight 253 stood in a small area in an evacuated luggage claim area of an airport terminal. During this time period, all of the passengers had their carry on bags with them. When the bomb sniffing dogs arrived, 1 dog found something in a carry on bag of a 30 ish Indian man. This is not the so called “Sharp Dressed” man. I will refer to this man as “The man in orange”. The man in orange, who stood some 20ft away from me the entire time until he was taken away, was immediately taken away to be searched and interrogated in a nearby room. At this time he was not handcuffed. When he emerged from the room, he was then handcuffed and taken away. At this time an FBI agent came up to the rest of the passengers and said the following (approximate quote) “You all are being moved to another area because this area is not safe. I am sure many of you saw what just happened (Referring to the man in orange) and are smart enough to read between the lines and figure it out.” We were then marched out of the baggage claim area and into a long hallway. This entire time period and until we left customs, no person that wasn’t a law enforcement personnel or a passenger on our flight was allowed anywhere on our floor of the terminal (or possibly the entire terminal) The FBI was so concerned during this time, that we were not allowed to use the bathroom unless we went alone with an FBI agent, we were not allowed to eat or drink, or text or call anyone. I have been repeating this same story over the last 5 days. The FBI has, since we landed, insisted that only one man was arrested for the airliner attack (contradicting my account). However, several of my fellow passengers have come over the past few days, backed up my claim, and put pressure on FBI/Customs to tell the truth. Early today, I heard from two different reporters that a federal agency (FBI or Customs) was now admitting that another man has been held (and will be held indefinitely) since our flight landed for “immigration reasons.” Notice that this man was “being held” and not “arrested”, which was a cute semantic ploy by the FBI to stretch the truth and not lie.

Better watch it, Kurt, or you’ll be getting visits from more than just the FBI.

You Know Things Are Bad When…

In a Wall Street Journal puff piece, titled The World’s District Attorney,  regarding the retirement of New York County District Attorney Robert Morgenthau, Morgenthau has this to say.

The D.A. says that while he’s had to deal with the federal bureaucracy for decades, “it has just gotten worse” and “they ought to burn it down and start all over again. It’s extremely worrisome.”

Recognizing the veracity in Morgenthau’s statement is important, but also understand that individuals such as Morgenthau, being a lifelong enforcer for the State, who recognize the “extremely worrisome” aspect of the federal bureaucracy, and state that “they ought to burn it down and start all over again,” are simply mouthing words which seem to indicate a return to freedom from the State, as their desire to “start all over again” illustrates.

TSA Goes After Bloggers

The ineptitude of the TSA continues unabated.  Since they cannot seem to keep terrorists off of planes, they are going after bloggers who seem to display an aptitude for knowing things the TSA deems they should not know.

As the government reviews how an alleged terrorist was able to bring a bomb onto a U.S.-bound plane and try to blow it up on Christmas Day, the Transportation Security Administration is going after bloggers who wrote about a directive to increase security after the incident.

TSA special agents served subpoenas to travel bloggers Steve Frischling and Chris Elliott, demanding that they reveal who leaked the security directive to them. The government says the directive was not supposed to be disclosed to the public.

TSA subpoenas bloggers, demands names of sources

Why is the government able to so quickly target and bring to bear their intelligence against Americans rather than those who desire to do Americans harm?

Urban Farming Detroit - Redux

Back in June, in a post I titled A Plan for INDIVIDUALS to Save Detroit, I noted an idea floating around regarding individuals turning the decay of Detroit into urban farms, without the necessary permissions; licenses, permits, etc.; the state would impose so they could forcefully obtain their piece of the farm.  Well, it may be too late for individuals to act.

John Hantz is a wealthy money manager who lives in an older enclave of Detroit where all the houses are grand and not all of them are falling apart. Once a star stockbroker at American Express, he left 13 years ago to found his own firm. Today Hantz Financial Services has 20 offices in Michigan, Ohio, and Georgia, more than 500 employees, and $1.3 billion in assets under management…With a net worth of more than $100 million, he’s one of the richest men left in Detroit…Then one day about a year and a half ago, Hantz had a revelation. “We need scarcity,” he thought to himself as he drove past block after unoccupied block. “We can’t create opportunities, but we can create scarcity.” And that, he says one afternoon in his living room between puffs on an expensive cigar, “is how I got onto this idea of the farm.”

Yes, a farm. A large-scale, for-profit agricultural enterprise, wholly contained within the city limits of Detroit. Hantz thinks farming could do his city a lot of good: restore big chunks of tax-delinquent, resource-draining urban blight to pastoral productivity; provide decent jobs with benefits; supply local markets and restaurants with fresh produce; attract tourists from all over the world; and—most important of all—stimulate development around the edges as the local land market tilts from stultifying abundance to something more like scarcity and investors move in. Hantz is willing to commit $30 million to the project. He’ll start with a pilot program this spring involving up to 50 acres on Detroit’s east side. “Out of the gates,” he says, “it’ll be the largest urban farm in the world.”

A farm to feed the State of Michigan’s coffers, rather than an urban farm controlled by individuals.

Can farming save Detroit?

Dead Drunk

If you’re planning on a dead drunk New Year’s Eve, there is a Blue Moon and all, and then hopping in your car, drunk, for the drive home because you’re the best drunk driver ever, you may want to consider heading down to Rome, GA, and signing the “Operation Stop and Think” pledge offered up by Jennings Funeral Home.

Between now and noon on Thursday, drivers can visit McGuire, Jennings and Miller Funeral Home on North Broad Street and sign a contract stating they plan to drink or use drugs and drive on New Year’s Eve. If they are then killed in a wreck while operating a vehicle on Thursday, the funeral home will bury them for free.

Services they pledge to provide include a casket, grave space, limousine and preparation of remains.

Funeral home officials said the program, called “Operation Stop and Think” is designed to save lives by making people think before they act.

Judas priest, if you’re going to drink, don’t drive.

Via Weird Universe which states the following in regards to the above.

Don’t you wonder how many losers will actually go and sign up? Also, who’s going to pay for the services for the unfortunate victims in other vehicles who weren’t drinking or taking drugs?

Tapping Mobile Phones - Try To Stay Focused

Drudge links to a FT.com story headlined Secret mobile phone code cracked with his own headline reading Secret mobile phone code cracked; Billions vulnerable to having calls intercepted…

The accompanying story notes that “hackers,”

“had cracked and published the secret code that protects 80 per cent of the world’s mobile phones. The move will leave more than 3bn people vulnerable to having their calls intercepted, and could force mobile phone operators into a costly upgrade of their networks.”

Personally, I would not concern myself so much with the alleged hackers, as these individuals, I think, are simply displaying their prowess at coding, and their prowess may end up protecting your mobile phone security in the long run.  Your concern and focus regarding your mobile phone security should be directed elsewhere.

If you thought that the National Security Agency’s warrantless wiretapping was limited to AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, think again.

While these household names of the telecom industry almost certainly helped the government to illegally snoop on their customers, statements by a number of legal experts suggest that collaboration with the NSA may run far deeper into the wireless phone industry. With over 3,000 wireless companies operating in the United States, the majority of industry-aided snooping likely occurs under the radar, with the dirty-work being handled by companies that most consumers have never heard of.

A recent article in the London Review of Books revealed that a number of private companies now sell off-the-shelf data-mining solutions to government spies interested in analyzing mobile-phone calling records and real-time location information. These companies include ThorpeGlen, VASTech, Kommlabs, and Aqsacom—all of which sell “passive probing” data-mining services to governments around the world.

Exclusive: Widespread cell phone location snooping by NSA?

Do you understand this?

Broken Arrow

In the movie We Were Soldiers, the term Broken Arrow is utilized.  Here, per Wikipedia, is what the term means.

The United States code for calling in all available aircraft or artillery for an airstrike and/or artillery strike very near a friendly position which has been overrun by the foe,...

My question, this morning, is whom do freedom loving individuals put out the call “Broken Arrow” to?

Is it the sheriff, which I noted here?

Most of the time, when you approach your congressman, you come to complain. In the new crusade, you will approach your sheriff and tell him that he is not only handsome, charming and overwhelmingly masculine, but also that he has powers he may not be aware of. You have come to tell him what they are and to back him up. My guess is, when you tell him that, he will not kick you out.

Tell him you expect him to return the courtesy when the Nazis come from the District of Criminals to get the guns. Tell him you are ready in a minute to serve under his direction in a posse. He will not move to Washington and be corrupted. He will stay there with you. Show him the ten orders the Oath Keepers will not obey. The Oath Keepers are retired and active duty military and police. Their web site is oath-keepers.blogspot.com. The first order they promise to disobey is an order to disarm you.

Or do freedom loving individuals put out Broken Arrow call here on the internet, utilizing it as an educational tool on what capitalism actually entails, as I noted an individual considering here?

What about utilizing the internet to recruit and form an organization such as the English Defense League, as the Broken Arrow call, which I noted here?

Or can the Broken Arrow call be in the form of a tax revolt, which has been advocated in the past by individuals whom I have the highest respect for?

Will the unorganized militia answer the Broken Arrow call, or will the organized militia put down the unorganized militia?

I personally do not know the answer to the above questions, but I do know that I am personally prepared to defend my liberty.

I have been putting out the Broken Arrow call, peacefully, for some time now, as have many other individuals, but the call has not relieved me from being overrun by our common foe, which is United States government.  Will I be totally overrun?  That may be, but I will continue my peaceful call.

Broken Arrow!

Have You Been Brainwashed?

Very interesting interview, from 1985, with Yuri Bezmenoz, a former KGB agent.  The interview is posted at YouTube under the title How To Brainwash a Nation (runs 8:47).

After listening to Bezmenoz, I’d say a large percentage of United States individuals are already brainwashed, and the objective proof of this is knowable right now, on a daily basis.

Yeah, Well You’re Way Outnumbered

Running as a TimesOnline headline, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the wannabe jihadist/terrorist, states “there are many more like me.”

Yeah, well you’re way outnumbered, Abdulmutallab.  You are your ilk are a only a deranged minority.  Though your deranged jihadists cohorts may indeed successfully murder other innocent individuals in the future, be aware that actions such as you attempted will only stiffen the spines of individuals who know that eliminating those such as you will carry about as much compunction as swatting a fly.

It Always Reads the Same

The AP headline at Yahoo!News reads Bomb suspect came from elite family, best schools.

Does not the above headline; along with the vast majority of headlines you read regarding some common, next door, always friendly neighbor who murders a houseful of people, or kidnaps and rapes a child, or commits some other manner of evil behavior; always read the same?

Are individuals, everywhere, so drunk on the collective, utopian, mantra koolaid that posits that the entire world is populated by good people with few evil intentions, that they still act surprised that an individual from an “elite family and the “best schools” will consider, without compunction, murder?

Evil exists, and an individual’s standard of living has nothing to do with whether or not an individual will commit acts of the most evil sort.

The Banality of the TSA

In response to the attempt by an individual to immolate himself on a Northwest Airlines flight, along with his fellow innocent passengers, the TSA has evidently issued new security regulations, to wit, that all passengers must remain in their seats for the last hour of the flight.

This regulation is just stupid and provides zero additional security.  The individual who attempted this little fire act on the Northwest flight was seated, just sitting there, quietly under his blanket, attempting to murder a plane full of people, and if this new “security” regulation had been in effect during this flight, it would have done nothing, nothing, to prevent it.

Is It Actually the Government Keeping You Safe in the Air?

So, is it the government keeping you safe in the air, with their Department of Homeland Security, the Patriot Act, the TSA, locked cockpit doors, bomb sniffing machines, shoes off please requests, etcetera, or?

Merry Christmas Post

Well, Christmas day started nice and icey, here, which was not a problem, though it did make my morning constitutional rather exciting in a precarious way.  Gifts have been exchanged, a prime rib is gently roasting in the oven for the Christmas feast, and libations of all types are readily at hand, no matter what an individual’s taste may be.

Christmas Eve dinner, with close friends, was once again a smash, and not simply because of the champagne, though it flowed generously, courtesy of RB.  We served Butter Poached Lobster w/Tarragon & Champagne.

This is the fourth year in a row the lovely Melis has prepared this culinary delight, and I must say that this dish, though rather labor intensive, is more than worth the intensive labor.  And though I typically do not imbibe in champagne, the Louis Roederer Brut Premier, served with the meal, was melodious accompaniment (thank you again RB).  If you desire to prepare yourself this dish, I recommend a good and crusty french bread baquette to sop up all the juices.

Now, my gift to those of you who may be casually clicking through the internet.  Pictures of the year 2009: animals eating each other.  There are 29 photos in this slide show, and each photo is quite good.  My personal favorite is photo 27, but I am very curious to know if anyone has ever dined on “Snake-bitten Chicken” (see photo 9).

Will You Be Selected?

Paul Hsieh links to an essay penned by John David Lewis titled Arbitrary Power, Dictatorship and Health Care which should be read.

Within Lewis’ essay, he highlights just a few of the dangers of government decreed healthcare, specifically the dangers of the arbitrariness implicit within the bill, H.R. 3962.  Here is one example.

“If the secretary estimates for any fiscal year that the aggregate amounts available for payment of expenses of the high-risk pool will be less than the amount of the expenses, the secretary shall make such adjustments as are necessary to eliminate such deficit, including reducing benefits, increasing premiums, or establishing waiting lists” (Sec. 101). Who gets care, and what it will cost, will be up to the secretary. (bold by ed.)

When I read those words from the bill, and Lewis’ comment (in bold), I immediately recalled the selection process of the Nazis in the concentration camps, and Googled the following:  nazi deathcamp selection procedures, and discovered the following essay written by William E. Seidelman MD.  Nuremberg Lamentation: For the Forgotten Victims of Medical Science from which the below quote is gleaned.

Half a century after Nuremberg it is opportune to go back to the beginning and examine how the best and the brightest people in medical science could become parties to evil. Physicians need to examine the historical, social, and legal basis of their profound powers and influence, including the tragic example of the exploitation and abuse of those powers by the foremost medical and research communities of the day. The medical profession needs to examine what can happen when medicine is influenced by political ideology.

Don’t kid yourselves.  There is a real and extreme danger, an evil danger, to all Americans if the United States government implements any type of health care bill.

Will you be selected?
